<p>What you will do</p> <p>Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps.</p> <p>How you will do it</p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals. </li><li>Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. </li><li>Must have the ability to work alone. </li><li>Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment. </li></ul> <p>What we look for</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair of Sprinkler and Suppression systems </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Have computer/phone skills - Word, Excel, Outlook and mobile apps and functions </li><li>Be able to perform service work on all water-based fire protection systems </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements </li><li>Overnight travel may be required </li><li>Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs </li><li>Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times </li><li>Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements </li><li>Follow verbal and written instructions </li><li>Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. </li><li>Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. </li><li>Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirement of the company and the customer </li><li>This role does require an on-call rotation </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>NICET certification is a plus </li><li>Backflow certification is a plus </li><li>Fire pump experience a plus </li></ul> <p>HIRING SALARY RANGE: $55,800-83,800 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
