<p>Overview</p> <p>Willow Valley is hiring a Landscaper/Gardener to maintain the grounds for Willow Valley Communities. Willow Valley Communities sits on beautifully maintained grounds, spanning two campuses. Help maintain these gardens and lands with our Landscaping team!</p> <p>This position is permanent and year-round, not seasonal.</p> <p>Opportunities with WVC:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Career growth opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent benefits, including medical, dental and visition</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent PTO package, plus 1 additional PTO day for your Birthday</p> </li><li> <p>Weekly Pay</p> </li><li> <p>Use of amenities, such as our fitness center, spa, cafes and swimming pools</p> </li><li> <p>Plus many more</p> </li></ul> <p>Wage:</p> <ul> <li>From $18.50/hr, + based on experience </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Takes part in preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns, and transplanting plant material.</p> </li><li> <p>Locates and plants shrubs, trees, and flowers.</p> </li><li> <p>Trims shrubs and cultivates gardens.</p> </li><li> <p>Trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls.</p> </li><li> <p>Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged branches.</p> </li><li> <p>Rakes leaves.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans grounds and removes litter.</p> </li><li> <p>Removes snow from walks and driveways.</p> </li><li> <p>Spreads salt on public passage ways to prevent ice buildup.</p> </li><li> <p>Waters lawn and shrubs.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience and/or training preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma or GED; OR</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 months related experience and/or training</p> </li></ul> <p>Hours:</p> <ul> <li>40 hrs/week </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <ul> <li> <p>The Manor and Lakes Campus of Willow Valley Communities</p> </li><li> <p>Lancaster and Willow Street, PA</p> </li></ul>
