As an LPN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works rotating days/nights from 7:00AM - 7:30PM or 7:00PM - 7:30AM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Collect, document and report patient data and observations. </li><li>Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions. </li><li>Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions. </li><li>Perform routine laboratory tests. </li><li>Educate patients and family members. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program </li><li>Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>One year of patient care experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
