<p>Division: Headquarters</p> <p>Project Location(s): New York, NY 10001 USA</p> <p>Minimum Years Experience: 10 Travel Involved: Job Type: RegularJob Classification: ExperiencedEducation:Bachelors DegreeJob Family:MarketingCompensation:Salaried Exempt</p> <p>Position Description: Develop and execute internal communications strategies to maintain effective and impactful connectivity with company employees and targeted external audiences. Provide strategic guidance to leadership and develop communication materials to engage, connect, and educate our diverse employee populations.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Team member of the communications & marketing team. Will work together with other team members throughout HQ and the office networks to ensure aligned internal/external communications. </li><li>Oversee, plan, and execute internal communication strategies to inform, engage, align, and inspire company employees. </li></ul> <p>Provide guidance and develop strategic communications to ensure employee awareness and adoption.</p> <ul> <li>Development and execute detailed creative communications campaigns for internal company initiatives in collaboration with Business Center (BC) Marketing and Headquarters (HQ) Communications teams (e.g., large-scale initiatives). </li><li>Maximize effective of current communication channels and deploy new channels and methods as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective communication campaigns.</p> <ul> <li>Oversee alignment and consistency of internal communications activities between BCs and HQ. </li><li>Collaborate on messaging for initiatives that transcend internal and external networks. </li><li>Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness of communications initiatives. </li><li>Direct, design and use of communications platforms across company. </li><li>Collaborate with HQ teams in evaluating, using, changing or deploying communication platform solutions. </li><li>Establish relationships with creative vendors, and manage services, contract terms, and cost negotiations. </li><li>Supervise team and may participate in hiring process, onboard, and deliver timely performance feedback for direct reports, execute/contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance cycle, utilize talent management systems, and identify appropriate training to help with development needs. </li><li>Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Communications, Marketing, or related field with minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing or communications, including use of digital channels, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience </li><li>Excellent writer with highly strategic approach to messaging </li><li>Experience developing strategic internal marketing campaigns to elevate brand and/or image of large/diverse enterprise </li><li>Extensive project management experience, able to manage high volumes of work for self and staff and various size projects successfully to completion, on time, and within budget </li><li>Proactive and passionate about providing exceptional experiences for employees. </li><li>Diplomatic approach to problem solving, uses active listening to completely understand target audience needs, and develop targeted solutions </li><li>Advanced interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational levels </li><li>Leadership and management skills, ability to develop cohesive teams, and engage others that are not direct reports </li><li>Experience working with executive and senior leadership levels </li><li>Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, helpful if have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar, not required. (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) </li><li>Limited travel </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in a construction site project-based office setting. The noise in the construction site work environment is usually moderate to loud.
