Must be eligible and available for full time work (40 hours a week) during fall semester 2026. Part of a team, you'll be surrounded by bright minds - always willing to help- as you apply passion to work that will compel our clients to invest?in IBM's products and services.</p> <p>Your role and responsibilities</p> <p>As a Technology Sales intern, you'll blend technical curiosity with business problem-solving. You'll help validate solutions, run hands-on demos, and support sales teams as they work with clients across industries.</p> <p>The Co-op program is designed to give students first-hand exposure and hands-on experience with IBM's high-tech sales teams, a fast-paced, AI-led, performance-based culture. The activities they participate in will support customer-facing sales roles:</p> <ul> <li>Build foundational prospecting and cold-calling skills </li><li>Learn how to engage customers and identify new opportunities </li><li>Apply technical knowledge during demos and POCs </li><li>Work alongside senior sellers to understand the full sales cycle </li><li>Gain experience using modern RevTech tools </li><li>Introduction to sales methodologies and strategies around forecasting and pipeline management </li><li>Collaborate with customers, partners, and business leaders </li><li>Contribute to opportunities that ultimately help drive revenue </li><li>Bring curiosity and a growth mindset to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Required education</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Required technical and professional expertise</p> <ul> <li>We're looking for students who enjoy working with people, solving problems, and learning new technologies. </li><li>Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student and available for full-time work (40 hours/week) during Fall 2026. </li><li>Not enrolled in classes during the co-op period. </li><li>Working toward a B.S. or M.S. in: Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field. </li><li>Interested in Selling </li><li>Motivated by learning new technology and applying it to real-world challenges, believing skills grow with effort and persistence </li><li>Strong communication skills-you can explain ideas clearly and keep people engaged. </li><li>Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., chatbots, AI-search, productivity tools) to explore information and solve problems. </li><li>Take initiative, seeking opportunities, and going above and beyond to add value. </li><li>Manage time and responsibilities effectively and independently. </li><li>Collaborate well with others, support teammates, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred technical and professional experience</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to digital selling tools or revenue technology platforms. </li><li>Experience presenting, teaching, or demoing technology (classroom, club, project, tutoring, etc.). </li><li>Experience working with sales development reps, marketing teams, or customer-facing roles. </li></ul> <p>ABOUT BUSINESS UNIT</p> <p>IBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
