If you are dedicated to the same philosophy, consider joining our team!</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Responsible for providing consultative sales and service to customers seeking health and ancillary insurance products and information. Assists with wellness education and conducts on-site Personal Health Assessments (PHAs).</p> <p>Logistics:</p> <p>This is a full-time position working (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm working on-site at 1795 N. Highway 17, Suite 7 Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 in an office environment.</p> <p>What You Wiil Do:</p> <ul> <li>Provides sales and service to customers for health and ancillary insurance products (this interaction with the customer will be face-to-face, by telephone, and web-based inquiries). Analyzes prospective customer needs and matches to appropriate company products and services. </li><li>Presents and explains various recommended products, benefits, features, and alternatives to the customer. Explains company sales, medical underwriting, and enrollment processes to set realistic customer expectations. </li><li>Generates and acts upon leads for new sales and the sales of replacement and add-on products. Initiates telephonic follow-up and/or outreach. </li><li>Schedules appointments for sales and service visits; conducts group and individual information sessions. Assists with wellness education and conducts on-site Personal Health Assessments (PHAs). </li><li>Receives and handles payments from customers. </li><li>Provides sales/service support for special events and projects for the general public. </li></ul> <p>To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Required Work Experience: 1 year retail, sales, and/or marketing experience. </li><li>Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to develop/maintain effective relationships with potential customers. Knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and the marketplace. Effective presentation and customer service skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. </li><li>Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office. </li><li>Required License and Certificate: Department of Insurance Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire in state employed. Licensure must be maintained while in job.
