<p>Supplier Quality Engineer</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Actively involved in new component sourcing and development </li><li>Component drawing review and approval </li><li>Involved in the Team Feasibility Commitment process with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers </li><li>Involved in control level definition for PPAP package together with Project Buyer and Engineering </li><li>Owner of Supplier Quality Project supporting APQP </li><li>Define the Supplier Quality Project tasks with the suppliers </li><li>Follow up completion of Supplier Quality Project tasks in terms of timing and quality for defined deliverables for PPAP approval </li><li>Participate in supplier production trial runs and Run at Rate per control level definition </li><li>Perform audits and PFMEA go and see as applicable for new projects </li><li>Define the Incoming Inspection / Delivery Approval Requirement template and manage the Interim Inspection Plan at the supplier as applicable </li><li>Owner of component PPAP approval </li><li>Escalate Supplier Quality Project delays / deviations according to internally defined standards </li><li>Actively connected with Autoliv Production Development System project teams </li><li>Provide guidance to supplier deployment of Autoliv Supplier Manual (ASM) </li><li>Support other divisions in terms of supplier on-site project activities when requested </li><li>Support requests for on-site supplier activities from Commodity Supplier Quality and Purchasing team members </li><li>Participate in rating for Supplier Quality Project and responsiveness performance </li><li>Ensures that root-cause analysis and corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and documentation is compliant with requirements. </li><li>Ensure that Annual Layout inspection reports are uploaded in the ALV system for their assigned suppliers </li><li>Owner of NCM 8D from D4 to closure </li><li>Provide Lessons Learned approach by carrying over knowledge and experience to new parts / suppliers </li></ul> <p>What is required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering required </li><li>Experience in deployment and/or auditing of APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, SPC, VDA </li><li>Knowledgeable in IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements </li><li>Experience in managing projects </li><li>Excels at oral and written communication skills </li><li>Experience in coaching, mentoring, and negotiating </li><li>Demonstrate high competence in assembling data and presenting information clear and concise </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you:</p> <ul> <li>Attractive compensation package </li><li>Flexible Options (schedule, etc) </li><li>Recognition awards, company events, family events, university discount options and many more perks. </li><li>Gender Pay Equality </li></ul> <p>Autoliv is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
