<p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Reviews records of students with disabilities who transfer into the district. </li><li>Upon request, provide liaison services between the school, the home, and other family service/community agencies. </li><li>Participate in the development of IEPs and serve as LEA representative for meetings. </li><li>Confer with members of the IEP and Section 504 Team as needed relative to case disposition and follow-up. </li><li>Provide comprehensive and appropriate psychological evaluations to determine the academic, functional, and social emotional needs of individual students. </li><li>Use assessment results to identify students' learning needs, develop instructional strategies, and contribute to recommendations regarding students' eligibility for placement in special education. </li><li>Provides consultation to staff regarding assessment and interpretation. </li><li>Monitors and coordinates case studies and re-evaluations. </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of laws and regulations for students with disabilities. </li><li>Provide crisis intervention as needed. </li><li>Participate in pre-referral, collaboration, or MTSS meetings with school personnel. </li><li>Participate in the development and presentation of in-service workshops for parents /guardians, administration and staff and/or community agencies upon request. </li><li>Develops and maintains confidential collegial relationships with all staff. </li><li>Attends building and department level meetings as required by The Director of Special services or Building Administration. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Valid/Active Professional Educator's License through Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) registered in Will County, IL required with the following endorsement: School Psychologist </li><li>Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback. </li><li>Ability to compose correspondence, reports, and/or other required written materials. </li><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries and/or complaints. </li><li>Displays courtesy, tact and respect when interacting with others. </li><li>Must maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, trust, and confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>New Staff Member- $59,742 (MA +24) - $76,187</p> <p>Current Staff Member- Pay/increases will be in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Frankfort Teachers' Association and Frankfort School District 157-C Board of Education.</p> <p>Associated Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>16 sick days </li><li>3 personal days </li><li>Bereavement Leave </li><li>Health, Dental and Vision Insurance </li><li>Retirement contribution </li><li>403b & 457b options </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement Available </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes</p> <p>Chelsea Intermediate School</p> <p>Grades 3-5</p> <p>School District</p> <p>www.fsd157c.org</p> <p>Position Website</p> <p>https://www.applitrack.com/fsd157c/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=Student+Support+Services</p> <p>ILearn Link</p> <p>ILearn</p> <p>Report Card Link</p> <p>District Report Card</p> <p>Job Posting Date</p> <p>5/1/2026</p> <p>Start Date</p> <p>8/17/2026</p> <p>Email for More Information</p> <p>jbajda@fsd157c.org</p>
