<ul> <li>New Competitive Pay!* </li></ul> <p>Job Overview</p> <p>The RN independently provides direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.</p> <p>Location: D4 Cardiac Unit- Step Down Unit- Main Campus</p> <p>Hours: 36 Hours- Full Time</p> <p>Shift: Days/Evenings 11:00AM- 11:00PM</p> <p>Unit Summary:</p> <p>D4 is a 30 bed intermediate care/stepdown unit. This unit cares primarily for cardiac patients in need of cardiac catheterizations, post STEMI/angioplasty, NSTEMI, post pacemaker insertion, CHF patient's, Atrial Fibrillation or other cardiac arrhythmia's and hyper/hypotensive patients, not meeting ICU admission criteria.</p> <p>The RN is responsible for administering and monitoring drips independently. Care for vascular patients pre/post-surgery including carotid endarterectomies and Fem-pops and other diseases/diagnosis's requiring close monitoring; such as sepsis, respiratory patients requiring BIPAP or High-flow oxygen, renal disease with/without HD, Neurological diagnosis's, patients withdrawing from substance abuse and OB emergencies.</p> <p>The Community RN Career Direct Care Pathway placement is comprised of four levels based on a RN's minimum experience, education, and qualifications.</p> <p>Level I - 0 - Less than 12 Months of RN Experience.</p> <p>Level II - 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience.</p> <p>Level III - 3 Years - Less than 8 Years of RN Experience.</p> <p>Level IV - 8 Years of RN Experience.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list.
