<p>Description</p> <p>Position at Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc.</p> <p>Entry Level Coating Operator (PVD) - 2nd Shift</p> <p>Sumitomo is looking for a 2nd shift Coating Operator to join our growing team.</p> <p>Brief Description:</p> <ul> <li>Operate and set up one or more PVD coating machines to perform meticulous machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts. </li><li>With technical guidance, keep coating department machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. </li><li>Work is performed under close supervision and subject to strict process inspection procedures. </li><li>Must follow company standards that are currently in place. </li><li>Communication any production problems with team lead and/or supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Well-lit and temperature-controlled machine shop. Staff members will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, bending, and climbing.
