We're committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone's empowered to be their best.</p> <p>The Production Operator is responsible for duties related to manufacturing wire on spooling and other like machinery to produce products per customer specifications in a timely and accurate manner.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Essential Duties:</p> </li><li> <p>Efficiently manufacture quality wire product on assigned machinery, such as Manual Spoolers, High Speed Spoolers, Large Spoolers, Twinners and Auto Pack machinery.</p> </li><li> <p>Load all necessary pay-offs with full spools to be cabled.</p> </li><li> <p>Load take-ups with spools or boxes and fill accordingly.</p> </li><li> <p>Load empty reel into take-up cradle.</p> </li><li> <p>Start?machine?and observes operation to assure?machine/s are running properly.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify?wire?sizes and using proper calibrations according to specs.</p> </li><li> <p>Load necessary tapes or binders.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect?wire?for visual conformance to specifications and removes defects or defective pieces.</p> </li><li> <p>Remove full take-up reels and unload empty pay-off reels.</p> </li><li> <p>Move materials, skids, and equipment at safe speeds using the proper equipment as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Support and participate in Lean/5S and process improvement initiatives as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain compliance with all Marmon IEI Environmental, Health and Safety policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Support activities within compliance to ISO Quality System procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Work as a team with other leads, supervisors, managers and Marmon IEI employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for all other projects, tasks, etc., as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
