<p>General Function:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and assist visitors, answer phone inquiries from students, employers, and community members. </li><li>Schedule appointments and make appointment reminder calls, check in students, and provide information about center services </li><li>Assist students in computer lab with general questions and navigating job board. </li><li>Perform light clerical duties and assist office staff with projects </li><li>Deliver and post flyers around campus </li><li>Make appointment reminder calls (follow up phone calls to students) </li><li>Assist with outreach, marketing, and attendance at center and events as needed </li><li>Assist with social media postings </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Outgoing, friendly, and customer focused </li><li>Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Flexible </li><li>Dependable </li><li>Ability to work independently </li></ul> <p>Some office experience helpful but not required. Knowledge of Word and Excel. Comfortable with providing customer service via phone and in person.</p> <p>In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student and enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester (three for summer). Preference if eligible for Federal Work Study.</p>
