<p>Job Title: Graphics Engineer</p> <p>Reports to: Engineering Supervisor</p> <p>Job Status: Exempt</p> <p>Job Purpose: Design and create Building Automation System(BAS) Graphical User Interfaces(GUI) by:</p> <ul> <li>Using various graphic editing software and BAS system frontend software. </li><li>Creating equipment system graphic representations from equipment schematics. </li><li>Populating graphical displays in a logical and organized manner from programming points lists. </li><li>Creating building and floorplan images from mechanical plans. </li><li>Collaborating with engineering design team. </li></ul> <p>Entry Level Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Graphics Design, Computer Aided Drafting, or Mechanical Engineering Technology. GPA to be requested. </li><li>Photo editing software experience such as Paintshop Pro or equivalent </li><li>Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. </li><li>Positive influence and ability to work in a team setting. </li><li>Detail oriented. </li></ul> <p>Advanced Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graphic editing software experience such as Adobe Illustrator or equivalent. </li><li>Experience interpretting mechanical construction plans / viewing CAD files. </li><li>Building automation system software experience such as Tridium, Alerton, Delta, Distech, Siemens, Metasys, Schneider, DGLux, Ignition, etc. </li><li>3D modeling software experience such as Autodesk 3DS Max, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4d, Blender or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Standing: Frequently </li><li>Walking: Frequently </li><li>Sitting: Frequently </li><li>Handling/Use of Hands: Frequently </li><li>Bending: Frequently </li><li>Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less: Occasionally </li><li>Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less: Occasionally </li><li>Lifting/Carrying 11-20 lbs.: Rarely </li><li>Reaching Outward: Frequently </li><li>Reaching Above Shoulder: Occasionally </li><li>Squatting/Kneeling: Occasionally </li></ul> <p>This job description is intended to provide information regarding the essential functions and basic duties of this position.
