<p>Job Summary: Strong clinical skills, including care and management of patients with general GI issues; a commitment to academic medicine, including clinical research and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; and providers who work well with others to share general GI consult service in a hospital setting. This position with give candidates an opportunity to see patients in a busy GI clinic setting and perform routine endoscopic procedures in hospital settings, as well as an affiliated ambulatory surgery center.</p> <p>Training and experience in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, GI motility disorders, and advanced endoscopic skills will be favorably considered but are not absolute requirements.
