<p>General Summary</p> <p>Plan, Direct, and Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Preferred Construction Supply at the Eagleville TN location. Supervise any staff to include those working in the PCS warehouse, Shop Maintenance Department, and Facility Maintenance department. Ensure that materials are at appropriate levels such as to meet the expectations and needs of our customers. Maintain constant communication with Group Manager to ensure operations of all departments are operating at expectation.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work in a safe manner, recognize and correct warehouse / yard hazards, and comply with WBC safety requirements </li><li>Serve as a safe and productive member Preferred Supply </li><li>Supervise Preferred Supply staff(Warehouse, Inside Sales, Procurement, Clerical) and ensure they are being productive, supporting Outside Sales Rep(s), performing their duties to meet expectations, and staying on task </li><li>Identify products and materials we should warehouse and make recommendations to Group Manager </li><li>Develop and Maintain relationships / rapport with Internal / External Customers, Logistics, Shop Maintenance, and Facilities Maintenance team members and supervisors </li><li>Manage the receipt and storage of all products ordered and stocked in the Eagleville, TN warehouse </li><li>Distribution of products / materials - receive requests and arrange for the efficient delivery of such materials </li><li>Utilize the automated inventory management system using the inventory module in Viewpoint or any future warehouse management system </li><li>Maintain accurate records of proof of purchase / receipt for accounting </li><li>Maintain accurate records of shipping and billing to the appropriate WBI Job or Outside Sales Customer </li><li>Ensure that product is available to meet the customer's orders by controlling inventory levels via physical counts and reconciling with the inventory system / Group Manager </li><li>Coordinate directly with HQ Purchasing Representative to ensure that inventory levels are being maintained properly and place restock orders </li><li>Maintain the warehouse and yard in a neat, clean physical condition </li><li>Coordinate deliveries via the logistics group </li><li>Order / Source any maintenance consumables needed for the shop or facility, e.g., oil filter, air filters, oil, flowers, pine needles, etc. </li><li>On occasion deliver materials / products to customers </li><li>Supervise full-time and part-time employees </li><li>Create / Review / Maintain management reports and statistics </li><li>Assist with annual budgets as needed </li><li>Safety equipment and field survey equipment - manage the internal and outsourced repair of these items </li><li>Facility Security - Develop and maintain security measures for the site </li><li>Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Marginal Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain existing procedures of all outgoing and incoming product/materials. </li><li>Oversee inventory and maintain the warehouse in a clean and organized fashion. </li><li>Support sales and marketing activities as needed </li><li>Supervise Shop Maintenance employee(s) and ensure they are productive and staying on task (Perform tasks until position is filled) </li><li>Supervise Facility Maintenance employee(s) and ensure they are productive and staying on task (Perform tasks until position is filled) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service and leadership skills </li><li>Frugal (Driven to save), strong business acumen </li><li>Intelligent, thinks logically and critically, strong analytical ability </li><li>Excellent planning and organization skills </li><li>Make decisions based on facts / statistics, problem solve, prioritize assignments </li><li>Knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse </li><li>People supervisory skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas </li><li>Strong technical skills, particularly database management and spreadsheets </li><li>Industry relevant experience </li><li>Ability to work under and meet deadlines </li><li>Personnel additions and issues should be discussed with Group Manager </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED - Required </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required</p> <ul> <li>Light equipment training / experience - Required </li><li>Computer Skills (typing, email, internet, MS Office / Excel) - Required </li><li>Valid driver's license - Required </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Indoors - Frequently </li><li>Outdoors - Frequently </li><li>Temperatures - Seasonal </li><li>Loud Noise - Infrequently </li><li>Forty to Fifty-hour work weeks - Frequently </li></ul> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 10-Hour Certification - Required (Provided by company) </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 pounds </li><li>Standing for long periods of time </li><li>Driving for short and/or long periods of time </li><li>Frequent climbing and leaning </li><li>Manual dexterity </li></ul> <p>PM20</p> <p>Wayne Brothers, Inc is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
