<p>Kforce's client, a regional public accounting firm, is seeking a Bookkeeper for the Client Accounting Advisory Services Team in Red Bank, NJ. This role is eligible for time & half overtime after 40 hours.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards </li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions </li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy </li><li>Execute journal entries and assist with month end close </li><li>Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations </li><li>Prepare payroll tax returns accurately and ensure compliance with tax regulations </li><li>Prepare Sales and Use tax returns </li><li>Communicate directly with clients to resolve accounting issues* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration </li><li>3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with experience with month-end close </li><li>Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles </li><li>Proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop </li><li>Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) </li><li>Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including debits & credits, account reconciliation, and payroll processing </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li></ul>
