As an Account Manager in our Animal Health segment you will join our West Region commercial team, supporting customers across the Central Valley of California. The West Region consists of Sales Managers and Sales Support working closely together to protect our core business while executing strategies to grow where it makes the most sense. Collaboration, integrity, and customer focus are at the heart of how we work - and how we contribute to Novonesis' purpose.</p> <p>The Role & Your Impact</p> <p>This is a regionally based, execution-focused sales role with strategic elements. You will be responsible for managing assigned accounts, protecting core business, and driving growth through thoughtful planning and strong customer relationships.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Protect and grow Novonesis' core Animal Health business within assigned accounts </li><li>Develop and execute account strategies aligned with regional and company objectives </li><li>Maintain accurate business plans and activity tracking using Novonesis tools, including Salesforce </li><li>Build and manage an effective 90-day plan to prioritize activities and opportunities </li><li>Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical service teams to deliver customer value </li><li>Lead strategic customer meetings and educate customers on Novonesis products and solutions </li><li>Represent Novonesis at industry conferences and events </li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need to Be Successful</p> <p>Must-have qualifications and capabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field </li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success </li><li>Strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and solve problems within agricultural operations </li><li>Experience communicating effectively with executive-level leadership in agricultural businesses </li><li>Strong planning, organization, and execution skills </li><li>Clear, confident, and articulate communication style </li><li>High integrity, accountability, and ability to work effectively within a corporate environment </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Interests We Value</p> <p>Nice-to-have qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Spanish language skills </li><li>Advanced education or extensive hands-on agricultural experience </li><li>Experience working with dairy producers, beef cow/calf operations, feedlots, growers, or nutritionists </li><li>Familiarity working with distribution partners and industry collaborators </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>At Novonesis, you'll be part of a collaborative, values-driven organization that supports both professional growth and personal well-being.
