<p>This position is Monday through Friday 8am - 430pm - no weekends or holidays</p> <p>Responsible for pre-registering & updating information within the patient's electronic medical record, to be accomplished during phone interview with the patient. Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that patient demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information.</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational and prioritization skills </li><li>Excellent guest relations and telephone demeanor </li><li>High degree of professionalism with excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize pre-admission calling of scheduled appointments </li><li>Excellent computer skills and general office aptitude </li><li>Excellent quality in collecting and inputting data </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum one year of hospital or physician office experience </li><li>Minimum one year of computer/data entry experience </li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification: N/A</p> <p>Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.</p> <p>Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range:$18.99-$23.07 </li></ul> <p>Sturdy Memorial Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
