<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Blackberry Mountain - Walland, TN</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Job Shift: Any</p> <p>Description and Qualifications</p> <p>Massage therapists are responsible for greeting Blackberry Mountain guests in the Spa, making them comfortable, and providing them with 5-star massages and body treatments. The ultimate purpose is to provide relaxation and restoration to our guests. Must work with and aid other team members in spa operations to ensure a 5-star experience for the guest.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Prepare room and tools necessary for scheduled treatments. </li><li>Ensure treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing procedures </li><li>Restock treatment products in treatment rooms and all other areas as needed </li><li>Responsible for removing and restocking all linen. </li><li>Responsible for opening and closing duties </li><li>Transport guests </li><li>Attend the front desk if the coordinator needs to step away briefly </li><li>Perform a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue and hot stone massage </li><li>Perform a variety of body treatments </li><li>Must be trained on new procedures </li><li>Any tasks deemed necessary by the manager to keep the spa clean stocked and operating smoothly. </li><li>Ability to sell retail </li><li>Must be able to perform a minimum of 5 hours of massage per shift </li></ul> <p>Must comply with all company policies and procedures.</p> <p>Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.</p> <p>Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.</p> <p>Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Must have TN State License required and required continuing education units </li><li>550 + hours of instruction required </li><li>Six months as a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist preferred </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Must have excellent verbal communication skills </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members </li></ul> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of math </li></ul> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to be on feet for most of the day </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to perform multiple services during shift </li><li>Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property </li><li>Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting </li></ul> <p>About Blackberry</p> <p>Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain, Relais & Châteaux properties located in the Great Smoky Mountains, continue the traditions of unparalleled hospitality and luxury that have always been the hallmark of the Blackberry brand.
