<p>Your responsibilities</p> <p>Position Summary: This 3rd shift position works directly with equipment to build, set, measure and deliver tooling / supplies required for each work center. Maintain tooling that is not in use, maintain a clean working environment and support the tool sharpening and recycling programs.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. </li><li>Through continuous monitoring and measurement, assure that all products meet or exceed the customer expectations and assure compliance with all procedural requirements. </li><li>Participate in inventory management and enter data in SAP. </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement by performing 5S+ Safety Audits, TPM activities and creating programs that foster cost reductions. </li><li>Communicate the needs of the department daily. </li><li>Follow the requirements of IS0-14001 and IS0-18001. </li><li>Perform tool building, setting and measuring. </li><li>Make entries into SAP for Inventory Management. </li><li>Operate small electrical equipment (e.g. tool pre-setter, hand tools, etc.) </li><li>Operate pneumatic and measuring equipment. </li><li>Perform required calibrations on measuring/inspection equipment. </li><li>Keep inventory count of material. </li><li>Manage waste removal from department. </li><li>Work professionally with outside vendors. </li><li>Other duties as assigned supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Education, Skills & Abilities: High School diploma or GED. Basic computer skills required. Math skills and knowledge of metric conversion required. Previous machining experience required. Blueprint and GD&T knowledge is necessary.</p> <p>Export Control: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
