<p>LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE ELL Teacher - SWAMPSCOTT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-</p> <p>TO COVER A LEAVE OF ABSENCE APPROXIMATELY SEPTEMBER 29, 2025 - FEBRUARY 2026</p> <p>Reports to: Building Principal</p> <p>The mission of the Swampscott Public Schools is to...</p> <p>Promote academic excellence for ALL students by supporting teaching and learning.</p> <p>Prepare ALL graduates for achieving success in college, career, and citizenship.</p> <p>Build respectful, caring relationships among all members of our community.</p> <p>Develop and nurture a culture of reflection, creativity, and commitment to continuous improvement.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide targeted English Language instruction to a diverse group of English learners. </li><li>Work collaboratively with grade-level content and special education teachers </li><li>Attend parent-teacher, IEP, and 504 meetings with relevant data and information </li><li>Administer WIDA ACCESS test annually </li><li>Administer WIDA Screener throughout the year </li><li>Maintain and update ELL files to comply with DESE regulations </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Special Education, IEP's and Section 504 plans preferred </li><li>Appropriate DESE license </li><li>Two years experience </li></ul> <p>The Swampscott Public Schools does not discriminate or tolerate harassment against students, parents/guardians, employees or the general public.
