Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, maintain all floors, stairs and office space. Dusts shelves and furniture, washes windows. Cleans office areas and bathrooms and maintains supplies. Empties trash and garbage containers. Assists with room set-ups as needed. Mows lawn, rakes, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers. Uses trimmers, leaf blowers, lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc. Maintains knowledge of general operation of small power equipment and machinery. Assignment may change from building to building to meet operational needs. Considered to be essential personnel for weather and other building and grounds emergencies as required.</p> <p>WORK SCHEDULE & CLASSIFICATION: Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 37.50 hours per week, temporary, non-benefited position. Assignment will be 10 to 12 weeks in length.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: Requires High School graduate or equivalent, valid Connecticut Driver's License with excellent driving record. One year of relevant experience required. Must have ability to work in extreme weather conditions and perform strenuous activities.
