<p>Title: Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice</p> <p>Division: Provost's Office</p> <p>Department: College of Liberal Arts</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>Salary Range: Annual Salary</p> <p>EEO Job Group: 2 C5</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 9-month tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Criminal Justice. Appointment will begin Fall 2025.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities</p> <p>The Assistant Professor will be expected to teach face-to-face and online, at both the undergraduate and graduate level, maintain an active research agenda culminating in peer-reviewed publications, and engage in professional and university service activities.</p> <p>Required Knowledge and Skills</p> <p>Applicants must hold or be nearing completion (ABD) of a doctoral degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology or related field. Applicants in the process of finishing their degree will be considered at the rank of Instructor if the degree will be conferred by the end of their first year of employment.
