<p>Position Title Assistant Professor (Cleveland Clinic/Ambulatory Care) Position Type Faculty Department Pharmacy Practice Full or Part Time Full Time Pay Grade 2</p> <p>Position Summary Information</p> <p>Department Specific Information Summary</p> <p>This full time, shared faculty position will be co-funded by Cleveland Clinic and NEOMED.</p> <p>The faculty will spend 80% of their time at the clinical site, with a primary focus on establishing a viable Ambulatory Care practice and precepting pharmacy students (up to 16 student months/year). Campus activities include workshop/lab facilitation, lecturing, admission interviews, committee service and student advising. Scholarship is an expected activity for all faculty in the College of Pharmacy.</p> <p>Principal Functional Responsibilities</p> <p>Teaching: Faculty responsibilities will include campus-based education such as small/large group teaching, student applicant interviews, assessments/evaluations, and student advising.</p> <p>Scholarship: All faculty are expected to participate in producing scholarly work, which may include clinical and/or outcomes research, review articles, book chapters, case reports and more. Presentations at local, regional and national meetings will be expected.</p> <p>Service: Participation on departmental, College, and University committees is expected. In addition, faculty members are expected to be active in local, state and national professional organizations.</p> <p>Faculty will be expected to participate in structured on-campus faculty development programs.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Pharm.D. </li><li>Eligible for licensure in Ohio </li><li>Completion of PGY1 residency or equivalent experience </li><li>Strong background/experience/interest in institutionally based clinical pharmacy practice </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>PGY2 training in Ambulatory Care</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment.</p> <p>Posting Detail Information</p> <p>NEOMED Campus Safety Guidelines</p> <p>In an effort to keep our campus community as healthy and safe as possible, NEOMED may require vaccinations as a condition of attendance and employment.
