<p>Description</p> <p>Position Summary & Responsibilities:</p> <p>This position is based in Salt Lake City with a 50% onsite requirement - it cannot be fully remote.</p> <p>Known internally as IS Domain Manager NORAM and reporting to the VP IS NORAM, this position is responsible for the Project Manager team in North America. The Domain Manager NORAM supports the project management team by following the bioMerieux project standards, processes and methodology, as well as best practice. This position is responsible to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and perfect resource allocation to archive the strategic objective of each project. Purpose is to ensure that project management services are delivered due to the nature of the project, including budget, forecast, cost controlling and resource allocation.</p> <ul> <li>Project Manager assignment includes internal and external resources. Managing the BMX approved/preferred vendors and handling the sourcing process is a key responsibility. </li><li>Manage budget, forecast and cost controlling </li><li>Lead and motivate a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. </li><li>Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members have the resources and support they need to succeed. </li><li>Manage team performance, provide feedback, and address any issues that arise. </li><li>Provide direction, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. </li><li>Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement strategies to improve team performance. </li><li>Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, customers, and other departments, to ensure alignment and meet expectations. </li><li>Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and company objectives of IS BMX </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and follows efficiently the escalation management process. </li><li>Manages external vendor and sourcing process for BMX </li></ul> <p>Education, Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years' experience in Project Management or Program Management (in an international business environment preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>PMP certification is a plus or similar Project Management Certification</p> </li><li> <p>People Management experience is highly desired with a focus on team development</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively with internal or external stakeholders, and resolve conflict</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to delegate tasks effectively and empower team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in setting goals, delegating tasks, and managing performance</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitates effective collaboration and communication among the team and other departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and manage</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Waterfall methodology is highly desired</p> </li><li> <p>Some domestic and international travel is required</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-US</p>
