<p>2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday</p> <p>Shift: 2pm-10pm</p> <p>Wage: $32/hr with a $1.50/hour shift premium</p> <p>$2500 Hiring Bonus</p> <p>Full Benefits Package</p> <p>401k Match</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform repairs, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to support both production and non-production related equipment in accordance with established standards. </li><li>Manages equipment calibrations, programmable device configurations and systems hardware to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, minimize equipment downtime, and support improvement activities for productivity and yield enhancement. </li><li>Assist in the execution of process validation, tooling, or package development testing to support organizational efficiency and process improvements. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering and other cross functional groups to ensure equipment downtime is communicated in a timely fashion and that decisions are in alignment with productions needs and overall company initiatives. </li><li>Generates daily work logs to track work orders and status of ongoing project assignments to ensure department resources are appropriately utilized. </li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable regulatory requirements while following the companys Good Manufacturing Practices. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li><li>5 years of electromechanical experience ideally in a food or beverage industry environment </li><li>Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and abilities to analyze a wide variety of equipment troubleshoot problems and assess maintenance needs </li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls aspects of factory automation systems and the integration of the devices used </li><li>Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings, and applied knowledge operating systems up to 3Ph and 480Vac </li><li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats </li><li>Proficient using a PC, ideally using Microsoft Office programs </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field </li><li>Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming. </li><li>Previous experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) </li><li>Journeyman certification </li></ul>
