<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>When you have completed the Essential Duties and Responsibilities, review the summary for consistency.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Preparing and reviewing routine legal department documents, including real estate documents </li><li>Implementing and maintaining contracts, policies and other legal department records </li><li>Assisting with administration of legal department assignments and fielding routine inquiries from the organization </li><li>Assisting in responding to Complaints from various state authorities (e.g., Attorney General Consumer Complaints) </li><li>Assisting in the administration of the company's liability insurance policies </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to prioritize work tasks to provide high-quality work product to meet internal and external deadlines </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork abilities, attention to detail and strong organizational skills </li><li>Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel), Smartsheets, and Adobe Acrobat </li><li>Ability to learn new areas quickly, take ownership of projects, and work independently </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree required or paralegal certificate preferred </li><li>3-5 years of relevant experience as a paralegal for a law firm or in-house legal department </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment </li></ul> <p>LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS</p> <ul> <li>Paralegal certificate preferred </li><li>Notary Public desired </li></ul> <p>LOCATION</p> <ul> <li>This position is located in St Louis, Missouri and offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N. Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia may also be considered for remote work. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
