Join our committed team and help shape the future we envision.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Rectal Cancer Program Coordinator will provide a dedicated resource to the Rectal Cancer patients</p> <p>and will serve as the single point of contact for patients referred to Moffitt Cancer Center undergoing</p> <p>multidisciplinary treatment. The Rectal Cancer Program Coordinator will perform tasks related to patient</p> <p>care coordination and follow-up. This will include assuring that patients are scheduled appropriately and</p> <p>in a timely fashion, including coordination of labs, imaging, and outside record collection. This coordinator</p> <p>will also be responsible for screening rectal cancer patients for clinical trials. They will collaborate with</p> <p>research coordinators to enhance patient enrollment and participation.</p> <p>The Rectal Program Coordinator will assure the highest quality of care is provided to all patients, to</p> <p>include supportive services (nutrition counseling, pain management, goals of care). This incumbent will</p> <p>serve as the clinical care coordinator for retained patients, ensuring that follow-up appointments are</p> <p>scheduled with specialists and external medical records collected for subsequent visits. The Rectal</p> <p>Cancer Program Coordinator will be committed to a focus on continuous quality improvement and</p> <p>standardization of care. Other relevant duties as assigned.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>High School Diploma/GED</p> <p>Minimum Experience Required</p> <p>Minimum of one (1) year, two (2) preferred, of demonstrated business experience performing duties</p> <p>functioning within above stated areas of study within an academic or general hospital, clinical, medical or</p> <p>service industry setting, including complex scheduling algorithms and medical experience as a scheduler</p> <p>Share:</p>
