<p>Warehouse Operator</p> <p>Pay: $22.00 -25.00 per hour</p> <p>Shift & Working Hours: 8 hours Shift; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. Seasonal hours 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. line seed conditioners may work up to 12 hours shifts.</p> <p>In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You'll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You'll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.</p> <p>This role is part of our WinField United business who supplies agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to our member-owners and other partners.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others </li><li>Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly </li><li>Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery </li><li>Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed </li><li>Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area </li><li>Successful forklift certification required </li><li>May include alfalfa seed conditioning </li></ul> <p>Required Experience and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years or older </li><li>1 year of work experience in any industry </li><li>Basic computer and math skills </li><li>Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions </li><li>Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot </li><li>Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of warehousing work experience </li><li>Forklift experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds </li><li>Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements </li><li>Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment </li><li>Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present </li></ul> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Nothing in this job description restricts the management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
