Incumbent will perform duties as a surgical technician including support and facilitation of surgical procedures by ensuring a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team. This role involves the preparation and handling of surgical instruments and equipment, adherence to established protocols, and collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. Additionally, the surgical technician is expected to participate in ongoing training sessions, contribute to team discussions, and uphold the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled, self-starter with:</p> <ul> <li>BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. </li><li>Two Years of surgical technician experience preferred. </li><li>NBSTA CST Certification preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in maintaining and establishing a sterile field during surgical procedures. </li><li>Ability to set up and organize surgical trays and equipment according to our standard setup. </li><li>Skills in the correct handling, preparation, and passing of surgical instruments and equipment. </li><li>Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team during procedures. </li><li>Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and the proper use and care of surgical instruments and equipment. </li><li>Ability to recognize and respond promptly to any breaches in sterility or potential complications during surgery. </li><li>Skills in effectively collaborating with surgical team members, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
