<p>Senior Network Security Engineer - Transit Systems</p> <p>We're seeking a seasoned network security professional to oversee and maintain security infrastructure supporting transit-related technologies. This role focuses on ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and operating at peak performance, with particular emphasis on intelligent traffic systems.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and monitor network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and remote access systems </li><li>Perform audits, risk assessments, and security incident response </li><li>Oversee authentication/access controls and enforce least-privilege principles </li><li>Support business continuity and disaster recovery plans </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; coordinate with vendors and internal teams </li><li>Implement and review security changes and upgrades </li></ul> <p>What You Need:</p> <ul> <li>At least 6 years of experience in network security operations </li><li>Strong background in managing and securing infrastructure </li><li>Familiarity with intelligent transportation systems and network protocols </li><li>Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to all audiences </li><li>Experience with threat monitoring, incident management, and risk analysis </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership experience within technical teams </li><li>Deep understanding of security standards and traffic system connectivity </li></ul> <p>Other Info:</p> <ul> <li>Occasional night, weekend, or holiday work may be required </li><li>Overtime as needed, based on project demands </li></ul> <p>#LI-LC1</p>
