This mission is threaded in all that we do - in designing modern and relaxing homes for our residents, in creating community within our residences and in our cities, and in creating an employee culture that motivates us to serve our customers in innovative and extraordinary ways.</p> <p>This Leasing Specialist role is located at The Northbrook, a 396-unit apartment community in north Lincoln at 29th Street and Fletcher Avenue.</p> <p>What we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>Experienced and personable team members </li><li>High school diploma and one to three years of related experience </li><li>Open availability to work weekends </li><li>Safely and legally operate an automobile and golf cart </li><li>Current driver's license with minimal violations is required. </li></ul> <p>A sneak peek into the Day in the Life of a Leasing Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Sell homes to our future residents: Use our CRM and other systems to nurture leads through walk in traffic, email, and phone. Use effective and professional sales techniques to coordinate property viewings, discuss community layouts, and available amenities. Maintain current and future community availability. </li><li>Effectively communicate to our current and future residents: prepare move in and move out documents. Use social media to deliver top notch resident and future resident experiences. </li></ul> <p>Life is Better Here:</p> <ul> <li>Live Well, Work Well: $17 per hour + $100 commissions for every 12 months lease complete. Health, Dental/Vision Insurance, Employee Assistance Program. </li><li>Saving For the Future: 401(k) 50% match up to 8%, Company contribution to HSA, 20% rental discount at CIP Communities for full-time team members </li><li>Work/Life Balance: Paid vacation, sick, holidays, volunteer opportunities and team outings </li></ul> <p>Review our full job description below -</p> <p>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Drive the sale and act as a knowledgeable guide for current and future residents using effective and professional sales techniques to discuss community layouts, and available amenities </li><li>Respond to queries/leads and coordinate property viewings, follow ups and updating of contact management database </li><li>Prepare and review all lease, move in, and move out related documents with residents </li><li>May inspect the condition of the community, including available units and coordinate with maintenance and vendors for services </li><li>Assist in utilizing all company software in an accurate and timely manner for any potential resident documentation. </li><li>Maintains the listings of available and unavailable community units </li><li>May be responsible for social media and resident/prospect experience </li><li>May be responsible for cleaning, including community units and clubhouse areas </li><li>Communicates effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment </li><li>Absorbs and complies with laws/policies regarding Federal, State and Municipal Fair Housing Laws, State Tenant Landlord Act, and the Federal and State Safety Regulations </li></ul> <p>What you need for success:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma and one to three years of related experience </li><li>Open availability to work weekends </li><li>Safely and legally operate an automobile and golf cart </li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals </li><li>Ability to use effective communication skills including in person, phone, email and written </li><li>Ability to interpret and retain a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and electronic form. </li><li>Current driver's license with minimal violations is required.
