<p>SHIFT: Days Mon. - Thurs. 5:00am - 3:30pm E/O Fri. Mandatory 5:00am - 1:30pm</p> <p>Wage: $25.00/hour (DOE)</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Production Team Lead is expected to drive a proactive safety culture at all times while achieving and maintaining production goals related to quality, productivity, customer service and cost. This position is responsible for training staff, managing staff and scheduling hourly production associates.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a safe working environment and helps to improve overall safety culture at Jamco </li><li>Drives compliance to all safety & Quality programs </li><li>Attend and participate in all scheduled meeting </li><li>Ensure that the facility complies with all internal & external standards. </li><li>Achieve department production goals, cost objectives, and KPIs </li><li>Ensure that all products meet Jamco Quality standards </li><li>Recognize nonconforming parts. </li><li>Individual will work with manufacturing team to improve overall quality </li><li>Lead and promote continuous improvement initiatives including engaging and training employees </li><li>Determine the root cause of manufacturing issues and develop corrective actions </li><li>Determine the root cause of safety incidents, complete investigations and follow up actions. </li><li>Document coaching conversations with Individuals and or team members. </li><li>Work with other Team Leads to accomplish production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; identifying and eliminate bottlenecks; and reporting results of the processing flow. </li><li>Assist in the development and training of every team member (New or Active) on procedures, ERP, programs and matrix to improve individual and team performance, cross training abilities and efficiencies. </li><li>Team Leadership: </li><li>Communicate your teams' attendance issues with Supervisor and / or HR on a daily basis. </li><li>Consistently demonstrate Myers Core Values through your actions and your communication. Make sure each team member understands his/ her roll in living Myers Core Values on a daily basis. . </li><li>Ability to set expectations and hold your team / all Jamco employees' accountable using coaching communication mythology. </li><li>Ability to manage and resolve conflict among employees and drive a culture of open communication </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned including working on the line when asked to assist with day-to-day production needs </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required. </li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years working in a leadership role. </li><li>Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. </li><li>Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety. </li><li>Recognize that the provision of a safe and healthy work environment is paramount. </li><li>Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions as well as teams actions. </li><li>The trait of being dependable and trustworthy. </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) </li><li>Proficient in root cause analysis (5-Why, 4M, Fishbone, A3) </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Evidence of a mechanical aptitude is essential. </li><li>Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Ability to retrieve, read and understand blueprints. </li><li>Ability to fill out the correct quality form. </li><li>Performance of Final Audits. </li><li>Ability to motivate others to achieve results and have strong interpersonal skills. </li></ul>
