<p>As a Systems Operations Analyst reporting to Senior Director, Platform Operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Nasdaq's trading systems and market operations. You will support 24/7 technical operations, troubleshoot real-time issues, and work closely with clients and internal teams to maintain seamless service delivery.</p> <p>You'll thrive in this position if you're detail-oriented, technically skilled, and passionate about keeping global markets running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor production systems in real time, identify issues, and troubleshoot software, hardware, and capacity problems to ensure uptime and performance. </li><li>Support daily market operations, including system startup and shutdown procedures, application updates, and recovery processes. </li><li>Collaborate with clients, network providers, and internal teams to resolve connectivity and technical issues quickly and effectively. </li><li>Maintain operational documentation and procedures to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. </li><li>Partner with developers and engineering teams to address operations-related challenges and implement solutions. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in data center, trading, or network operations. </li><li>3+ years of experience in technical operations, system administration, or a related field. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Linux environments, including administration and troubleshooting. </li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing). </li><li>Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. </li><li>Familiarity with scripting (Bash, regex) and tools like GitLab, Docker, or Kubernetes. </li><li>Certifications relevant to systems operations or infrastructure management. </li></ul> <p>This position will be located in Philadelphia, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; Nasdaq will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)</p> <p>Come as You Are</p> <p>Nasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
