<p>Basic Qualification</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering and minimum of three years of experience working in Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, or Supply Chain </li><li>In lieu of a degree, will accept a minimum of six years of related experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, or Supply Chain </li></ul> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The selected candidate will report to the Whitehall Operations Procurement Manager and provide support to Whitehall Campus (specific facilities to be assigned), to ensure Business Unit goals are met through the execution of procurement strategies. Procurement strategies include but are not limited to the security of supply, cost savings, optimization of processes, and supplier risk mitigations. The overall goal is to support production schedule while obtaining the best achievable value for supplies and services while maintaining compliance with company procedures.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare request for quotes and proposals based on Plant requirements. </li><li>Review quotations and perform cost analyses to determine best value based on price, schedule, quality, and capability. </li><li>Negotiate pricing, payment terms and lead times that align with Plant goals. </li><li>Place purchase orders based on approved requisitions to support production, operations, and inventory needs. </li><li>Manage and maintain purchase orders to include accurate pricing, charge account codes and vendor promise dates. </li><li>Monitor invoices on hold and work with internal stakeholders and suppliers for resolution. </li><li>Work with the Receiving department to reconcile shipping documentation from suppliers. </li><li>Collaborate with other departments (Shipping, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Accounts Payable, Facilities, Etc.) to resolve Plant issues with timely resolution. </li></ul>
