<p>EMS is looking for experienced Rolling Mill Operators.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Set up and operate a variety of ZR rolling mills and metal forming machines, working with close tolerances. Check and order material and work from route cards and schedules. Use a variety of precision measuring tools to perform in-process inspection and check incoming material to meet required standards</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate the mill, including roll changes </li><li>Operate edge trimmer and in-line welder as needed </li><li>Change rolls and components in the mill housing as needed </li><li>Work with very close tolerances from route cards </li><li>Use shop math, use micrometer, gauges, and samples </li><li>Complete setups, routine maintenance, and other equipment related operations. </li><li>Maintain production records and make data entries into computer systems </li><li>Wear all required PPE at all times </li><li>Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in area </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School or Equivalency Diploma </li><li>Basic Shop Math </li><li>Ability to read and understand written instructions in English </li><li>Ability to use hand held measurement instruments </li><li>Experience operating continuous metal strip processing equipment preferred </li></ul> <p>EMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits harassment of any kind.</p>
