<p>PRIMARY FUNCTION:</p> <p>The primary function of the Analyst I on the Treasury Team is to accurately process electronic disbursements and checks, while ensuring customer and client needs are met in a timely efficient manner through delivery of Top Block Service. The Analyst I is responsible to adhere to internal audit requirements and Accounts Payable and Treasury controls.</p> <p>MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Input, approve & release electronic payments </li><li>Generate and audit checks in accordance with established policies and procedures </li><li>Process stop, void and return payments and inquires </li><li>Complete daily reporting, reconciliations, router box inquiries and team logs </li><li>Reconcile bank reports and disbursement lists on a daily basis </li><li>Liaise with internal departments to analyze the validity of payment requests and to research and resolve discrepancies as requested </li><li>Maintain on-going communications with the bank and internal customers </li><li>Other Treasury related functions as needed </li><li>Participate in special projects as required. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Attention to detail </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS/SELECTION CRITERIA:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years related business experience or Associates Degree in Accounting or Management preferred </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel and Word required </li><li>Strong planning and organization skills, internally motivated and a self-started </li><li>Oracle or other financial system experience preferred </li><li>Prior banking experience preferred </li></ul> <p>KEY DIMENSIONS</p> <p>Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills Strong attention to detail</p> <p>Customer/Client Driven Flexibility / Initiative</p> <p>Excellent Communication Skills Deadline oriented</p> <p>Teamwork</p>
