Accompanying letters of recommendation are encouraged but not strictly required.</p> <p>The Stanton Lab in the Center for Genomics Medicine (CGM) and Department of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist to be the driver of our effort to leverage advanced bioengineered organoid models for gaining new insights into mechanisms underlying ALS, translatable to effective preventative and therapeutic interventions. The scientist will build on and further develop close collaborations with world-leading experts in ALS and genetics within the Department of Neurology and CGM and technology of the Stanton Lab (www.stantonlab.info).</p> <p>Core areas of focus will include translating genetics and human biology observations from patient samples to effective preclinical in vitro models and in vivo mouse models to understand multicellular mechanisms in ALS, modeling functional consequences of therapeutic interventions, and performing and leveraging multiomics analyses to identify enhanced therapeutics approaches.
