<p>Job Title: CT Technologist</p> <p>THIS IS A PERMANANT ROLE IN CHARLESTON, SC OFFERING A SIGN-ON BONUS AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality CT scans for a diverse range of patients, from neonates to geriatric individuals. Working under the general supervision of the CT Supervisor and Radiology Manager, the Technologist ensures that all scans are prepared for physician interpretation, adhering to established protocols.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with established protocols. </li><li>Prepare scans for physician interpretation. </li><li>Provide imaging services to a diverse patient population, including neonates and geriatric patients. </li><li>Adhere to departmental workflow procedures. </li><li>Conduct routine scans including Neuro, MSK, Chest/Abdomen, and perform arterial/venous delayed scans. </li><li>Assist with drains/BX and conduct emergency exams as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. </li><li>Experience in routine scans such as Neuro, MSK, Chest/Abdomen. </li><li>Familiarity with arterial/venous delayed scans and emergency exams. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience level: 0-1 years. </li><li>Knowledge of departmental workflow. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The CT Technologist will work in a clean, climate-controlled imaging suite equipped with a CT scanner, control room, and nearby patient prep areas. The role requires movement between departments, including the ER and inpatient units.
