<p>The Tesla Insurance Claims Application team is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our Web App. These products are part of Tesla's advanced platforms for managing Service workflow for Vehicle, Insurance Claims and Energy products. The person will be responsible for building and maintaining full stack applications that support various use cases of service business. User interfaces are built with Angular, React and Typescript and are powered by highly performant backend distributed systems. The person will be working closely with our end users, focus on extensible design systems, and obsess over open-source quality solutions to create scalable applications.</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle for applications, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards </li><li>Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications, utilizing .NET, C# </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, service engineers and other software engineers, to define and implement features that enhance operational efficiency for our customers </li><li>Ensure that web applications integrate seamlessly with backend distributed systems and support real-time monitoring, control, and reporting </li><li>Contribute to the definition and implementation of extensible design systems that prioritize scalability, maintainability, and exceptional user experiences </li><li>Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to guarantee the reliability and performance of applications under various conditions </li><li>Actively maintain and promote the core values of the team, which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability, contributing to a positive and productive team culture </li><li>Drive initiatives from concept to completion, from defining the business need with product experts, to conducting user interviews, culminating in feature implementation </li><li>Degree in Computer Science or equvuilant experience </li><li>Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on developing and delivering user-centric web applications using C#, .NET. Angular/React and TypeScript experience are a good addition </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering robust, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet customer needs and drive operational excellence </li><li>Enthusiasm for staying at the forefront of technology trends and a commitment to continuous learning, particularly in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable technologies </li><li>Maintain the values of the team which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability </li></ul>
