Conditions of employment apply.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Medical Assistant provides support to patients, physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of the provider. Duties include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Scheduling and rescheduling appointments</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining medical records</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing exam rooms for patients</p> </li><li> <p>Recording patient medical history and chief complaint</p> </li><li> <p>Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program (required)</p> </li><li> <p>CPR certification preferred or obtained within six months of employment</p> </li></ul> <p>How to Attend:</p> <p>No registration needed - simply arrive at the location during event hours with your resume.
