<p>Overview</p> <p>Mechanic - Light Duty - Denver Metro</p> <p>Wage: $20-$30</p> <p>W.W. Clyde & Co. Great Plains is seeking a motivated, full time Light Duty Field Mechanic. Applicant must be self-motivated, reliable, and safety minded to accomplish various service and repair procedures in the Denver Metro area.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years experience on light duty vehicles, tow behind light plants and generators, small engines </li><li>Ability to prioritize, manage time, work independently with little supervision. </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and leadership. </li><li>Self-motivated, detailed oriented, resourceful and reliable </li><li>Proficient with computers, tablets and their operating systems </li><li>CDL Class A or B, or ability to obtain one upon hire with medical card </li><li>Must have own tooling to complete repairs, minimum tooling list will be provided </li><li>Clean driving record and background </li><li>Pass pre and post-employment drug test </li><li>Travel may be required for short periods of time </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accurately diagnose, inspect, and repair equipment as directed </li><li>Remove, repair, and install minor and major components with service truck crane using proper rigging and techniques </li><li>Read and comprehend troubleshooting steps, electrical and hydraulic schematics </li><li>Follow directions </li><li>Look up parts </li><li>Check Microsoft Teams and email regularly, these are the primary forms of communication </li><li>Maintain service truck, crane and compressor </li><li>Good record keeping </li><li>Other assigned duties </li><li>Ongoing safety training </li><li>Take advice and guidance from leadership and other mechanics </li><li>Communicate status of repairs and timelines to field supervisors </li></ul> <p>Physical requirement:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time </li><li>Work in awkward and uncomfortable positions </li><li>Stand, reach and bend for long periods of time </li></ul> <p>WW CLYDE Is An Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Employer</p>
