<p>Job Requirements</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Radiologic Technologist Assistant support Radiologic Technologists by preparing</p> <p>customers/patients for imaging procedures, maintains radiology equipment, managing supplies, and</p> <p>ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The Radiologic Technologist Assistant helps with</p> <p>customer/patient positioning, documentation, and workflow efficiency while adhering to applicable</p> <p>safety and regulatory standards to support high-quality diagnostic imaging services.</p> <p>PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES</p> <ol> <li>Provides patient positioning assistance working directly under the supervision of the </li></ol> <p>Technologist or Sonographer.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Transports patients using a stretcher, wheelchair, and beds in accordance with safety </li></ol> <p>procedures and handoff communication processes.</p> <ol start="3"> <li> <p>Ensures all exam rooms and equipment are stocked, disinfected, and ready for the next patient.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains a safe environment for patients, team members and yourself.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows all Federal, State and Regional healthcare regulations and adhere to the Joint</p> </li></ol> <p>Commission standards.</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Ensures accurate and timely assistance to the technologist or sonographer.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains flexibility, adapts to changes in workflow processes and the needs of the Health First</p> </li></ol> <p>organization based upon fluctuations in patient volume.</p> <ol start="8"> <li>Communicates effectively with customers (patients, LP, other Health First associates, the </li></ol> <p>public, etc.) always using excellent customer relation skills.</p> <ol start="9"> <li>Utilizes supplies and equipment with care in a safe, proficient and cost-effective manner. </li></ol> <p>Work Experience</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Work Experience: None </li><li>Licensure: None </li><li>Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider </li></ul> <p>Completion Card prior to start date and maintained.</p> <ul> <li>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: </li></ul> <p>Page 2 of 2</p> <p>o Demonstrate effective time management and critical thinking skills.</p> <p>o Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a stressful work environment and to respond</p> <p>to life threatening situations.</p> <p>PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Work Experience: </li></ul> <p>o Prior experience in patient care or customer service.</p> <p>o Prior general office experience of one year or more.</p> <p>o Prior radiology experience.</p> <ul> <li>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Basic computer skills. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Physically agile; requires walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, or </li></ul> <p>crouching majority of the shift.</p> <ul> <li>Heavy work that frequently includes lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with or </li></ul> <p>without assistance.</p> <ul> <li>May require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments </li></ul> <p>including tight and confined spaces, including reaching out and above shoulders or overhead.</p> <ul> <li>May lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate people and/or equipment with or without assistance up to </li></ul> <p>90% of the assigned shift.</p> <ul> <li>May be exposed to inside environments and outside environments with extreme temperatures, </li></ul> <p>air contamination, dirt, grease, or water.</p> <ul> <li>May require working with biohazards such as blood/body fluids and airborne particles following </li></ul> <p>OSHA and CDC guidelines.</p> <ul> <li>May operate various types of manual and motorized equipment used in the transportation of </li></ul> <p>materials.</p> <ul> <li>May be exposed to intense noise or vibration and awkward or confined work position. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>ABOUT HEALTH FIRST</p> <p>At Health First, diversity and inclusion are essential for our continued growth and evolution.
