You will combine technical project support, route development, and field construction oversight, delivering projects safely, and in compliance with all engineering, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical and financial support, including reviewing contract documents, plant design criteria, drawings, and specifications </li><li>Support pre-construction planning and ensure agreement on engineering, environmental, and permitting requirements </li><li>Help evaluate project budgets, cost drivers, and schedule impacts </li><li>Lead route development for gen-tie and related infrastructure </li><li>Conduct field site visits to validate routing assumptions and support design decisions </li><li>Apply value engineering to improve routing based on cost, engineering constraints, and environmental factors </li><li>Perform routing trade-off analyses and support siting decisions under uncertainty </li><li>Evaluate routing and construction risks with input from subject matter experts </li><li>Communicate risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies to teams and leadership </li><li>Collaborate with Engineering, Environmental, Legal, Development, and Land teams to ensure permitting compliance </li><li>Oversee field construction activities for BESS projects, including mechanical and electrical installation </li><li>Monitor EPC contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, safety standards, and QA/QC requirements </li><li>Coordinate daily activities between contractors, inspectors, vendors, and partners </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>6-10 years of experience supporting technical or financial aspects of construction projects </li><li>3+ years of experience with contractor oversight and field construction activities </li><li>Background in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or power generation projects </li><li>Experience with routing criteria (cost, engineering, environmental constraints) </li><li>Experience with route optimization and value engineering concepts </li></ul> <p>Our Safety Pledge to You:</p> <p>If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
