<p>Cocktail Runner Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Live! Hospitality Employee Handbook. </li><li>Anticipate and accommodate all the needs of the guests. </li><li>Uses proper service protocol - serving all drinks to the guest's right, using the right hand. </li><li>Able to carry a tray </li><li>Able to comprehensively describe all drinks, specialty cocktails, wine and beer. </li><li>Provides professional and exceptional service. </li><li>Ensures delivery of all beverages to the guests. </li><li>Maintains general cleanliness of assigned stations and entire venue. </li><li>Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, be a team player. </li><li>Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus. </li><li>Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards. </li><li>Follows all company procedures when providing bottle service. </li><li>Follows proper cash/payment card procedures. </li><li>Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. </li><li>Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers and chefs. </li><li>Properly sets-up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including: </li><li>Ensures all lounge furniture is clean and free of debris </li><li>Performs opening & closing side-work as instructed </li><li>Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management. </li><li>Attends and participates in daily pre-shift meetings. </li><li>Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings. </li><li>Learn by listening, observing other team members and sharing knowledge while leading by example. </li><li>Portrays a positive and professional attitude. </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of Live! Hospitality, its partners and the entirety of the estate. </li><li>Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all team members. </li></ul> <p>Cocktail Runner Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year of serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue. Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred. </li><li>Must meet state legal age requirements. </li><li>Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred. </li><li>Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured. </li><li>Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, bartender, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors. </li><li>Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency. </li><li>May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. </li></ul> <p>The Cocktail Runner position requires the ability to perform the following:</p> <ul> <li>Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds (bar ware, carts, boxes, bottles, etc.). </li><li>Must be able to efficiently and safely stand and move about the entire facility during each shift. </li><li>Bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting. </li></ul>
