Personal attributes in the areas of communication, collaboration, integrity, positive approach and growth mindset are key.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with grade level team in the PLC model </li><li>Prepare and teach all grade level content/standards </li><li>Efficient in data protocol and planning with MTSS </li><li>Help to plan for Intervention and Enrichment groups for all students </li><li>Create instructional resources for use in the classroom </li><li>Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in </li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development. </li><li>Maintain grade books and prepare progress reports quarterly </li><li>Use common assessments to drive instruction </li><li>Utilize various curriculum resources </li><li>Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities </li><li>Observe, evaluate, and report student's performance. </li><li>Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures. </li></ul> <p>Contract Days: 184 Days</p> <p>Salary: Per the master contract</p> <p>Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Appropriate Indiana Education Licensure </li><li>Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of students, staff and administration. </li><li>Proficient and competent demonstration of reading and writing capabilities. </li><li>Strong human relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy and presentation. </li><li>Multi-tasking ability and strong organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to utilize 21st century technological skills to enhance teaching and learning. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. </li><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards </li><li>Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone </li></ul> <p>Benefits: TERF, 401A, 403B, Several Health Insurance Options, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellness Clinic, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance</p>
