<p>Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician</p> <p>Job Type: 6-Month Contract</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>A 6-month contract opportunity is available for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the production and testing of advanced aerospace hardware. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in environmental testing and precision manufacturing assembly.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assemble and test deployable space systems hardware </li><li>Perform environmental testing including thermal vacuum, shock, and vibration </li><li>Execute manufacturing assembly procedures with attention to detail </li><li>Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge pins, and blocks </li><li>Identify and report broken or defective parts during assembly </li></ul> <p>Must-Have Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Environmental testing experience (thermal vacuum, shock, vibration) </li><li>Proficiency with inspection tools </li><li>Background in manufacturing assembly </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-Have Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in the aerospace industry </li><li>Familiarity with RF systems or space antenna technologies </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing environment with tight program deliverables </li><li>Collaborative team focused on space applications </li></ul> <p>Why join?</p> <ul> <li>This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects, including support for a next-generation broadband space antenna.
