We are now looking to fill several Longshoreman positions at the Palmetto, Florida operation of LOGISTEC.</p> <p>We are seeking individuals with at GOOD WORK ETHIC to provide general labor duties at our busy port terminals. Must be willing to perform loading, unloading duties, cleaning tasks and operate some small machines, work around water preparing cargo and following safety guidelines. Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends while working in all weather conditions.</p> <p>Your new responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare cargo for loading/unloading </li><li>Follow loading plans </li><li>Operate small equipment as instructed </li><li>General housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environment </li><li>Heavy lifting duties </li><li>Observe all safety rules and use good safety work habits. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>You have the right qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or GED. </li><li>Able to work around water </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly throughout a shift </li><li>Attention to detail and safety protocols </li><li>Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
