<p>The Shelf Stocker is responsible for accurately keeping track of inventory records of food products at the Great Lake Naval Training Center.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:</p> <p>Accurately keep track of inventory records of food products at the Great Lake Naval Training Center.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness and safety of the storerooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Rotating stock and following the first in first out (FIFO) procedure.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete Daily JOD Checklist</p> </li><li> <p>Receiving of vendor orders</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Inspecting products for quality </li><li>Verifying quantity to match invoices </li><li>Reconciling of electronic vendor invoices </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li> <p>Returning all unused items to the assigned storeroom</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting in store room inventory for 10-day inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting in cutting of cycle day food ordering</p> </li><li> <p>Reporting all defective equipment to appropriate supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspecting store room for safety, organization and fire prevention.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Must have valid driver's license, necessary insurance and be able to legally operate a Goodwill vehicle. </li></ul> <p>CORE COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Operate equipment essential to performance of job. </li><li>Basic mathematic skills. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Lift up to 50 pounds and carry for up to 3 feet. </li><li>Full range of motion.
