<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Prepares beverages for outdoor pool guests in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency and in compliance with hotel, Marriott, and Forbes standards. This is a part-time, seasonal position.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner as they approach the bar. </li><li>Takes orders for food and beverages, explaining menu items and drinks as needed. </li><li>Receives drink orders from servers. </li><li>Responds quickly to guests' requests and follows-up to ensure satisfaction. </li><li>Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper portioning of products to control costs and provide consistency. </li><li>Pours and serves nonalcoholic beverages such as soda and water. </li><li>Rings up tickets using Micros point of sale system. </li><li>Sets up bar at the beginning of shift and maintains a clean and organized work area throughout shift. </li><li>Monitors guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service should cease. </li><li>Requisitions liquors and supplies.
